Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. The role spans antepartum to neonatal care, with a focus on mother and baby monitoring during birth.

You will work 36 hours weekly on 12-hour day shifts in a travel capacity, joining a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency that supports credentialing, housing, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care L&D setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor patients for potential high risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
