Job summary

General Healthcare Resources, Inc. is seeking a Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in Riverside, CA for a 13-week assignment.

You will provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients on a high-volume unit, monitor fetal status, and support labor management. This travel RN role requires an active RN license, BLS/ACLS/NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification; 2+ years L&D experience preferred.

Qualifications

Active RN license.
Over 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred.
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required.
BLS, ACLS, and NRP required.
Experience with fetal monitoring and high-acuity L&D care strongly preferred.
Ability to adapt to a busy, organized, fast-moving unit environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a high-volume Labor & Delivery setting.
Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond appropriately to changes in patient status.
Assist with labor management, cervical exams, NSTs, and medication titration.
Support procedures such as McRoberts maneuver and baby-catching as needed.
Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, OB techs, and the broader care team.
Float to postpartum/couplet care when needed and maintain a strong patient safety focus.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
