Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Huron, SD. The role requires night shifts (12 hours) and a 36-hour work week, offering travel compensation and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, is BLS and NRP certified, and has recent L&D experience. You’ll provide obstetric care, monitor moms and babies, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Current, valid RN license in the appropriate state.
• JN/BLS and neonatal resuscitation certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and neonatal status during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and assist during delivery and cesarean sections.
• Collaborate with obstetric teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Document care and monitor fetal well-being per protocol.
• Educate families on postpartum care and infant care basics.
