Job summary

TotalMed RN in Billings, MT is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse for a 13-week assignment. The role offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, with immediate start availability for an experienced L&D RN.

The travel RN will support care before, during, and after delivery, assist physicians with procedures, monitor labor, and ensure patient comfort and safety. Certification requirements include BLS, NRP, and AWHONN, with a fast-paced environment throughout the birthing process.

Qualifications

• 3 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• Current BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications.
• Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient during labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assist physicians with epidurals, cesarean prep, and delivery support.
• Provide immediate newborn care and post-delivery assistance.
