Qualifications

• Current State of Alaska RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NRP certification required/preferred as stated.
• Labor and Delivery experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome perinatal patients to the LDRP Unit and promote security in care.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Communicate with physicians regarding fetal monitoring and studies.
• Perform nursing duties in maternal child health across care continuum.
• Participate in department process improvement efforts.
