Job summary
Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator - LDRP RN Nights to lead a labor and delivery unit during night shift. You will oversee admission/discharge, staffing, and care coordination with a patient-first focus.
The role requires an RN license, an associate degree, BCLS and Neonatal Resuscitation within specified timelines, and prior leadership experience. Alaska Regional Hospital offers a supportive team environment and opportunities within the HCA Healthcare
Qualifications
- RN license required
- Associate degree in Nursing required
- One or more years of labor and delivery leadership experience preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 7 days of start date
- Neonatal Resuscitation within 90 days of start date
Responsibilities
- Oversees admission and discharge to ensure throughput and patient-centered care
- Monitors quality of patient care and collaborates with management
- Leads staffing, scheduling, and training of new staff
- Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed
- Implement nursing strategies to improve engagement and outcomes
- Provides guidance on interviewing, selecting, and training staff
- Manages inventory and supplies in the unit
