Job summary

Singer Equipment Company, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Installer to support installation and maintenance of large kitchen food service equipment at customer locations.

The role requires frequent travel, both in-state and out-of-state, to perform delivery and installation tasks across nationwide sites. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be mechanically inclined with hand tools, and be comfortable working on construction sites and in operational kitchens.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel 3-4 nights per week, 3-4 weeks per month.
• Physical abilities including heavy lifting that will be required. Climbing, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
• Able to work on construction sites, operational kitchens and cafeterias, warehouses and loading docks
• Mechanically inclined – knowledge of hand tools is required
• Preferred experience that is helpful: construction, electrical, plumbing, and/or forklift
• Team player, reliable, dependable, and willing to work
• Must have an acceptable driving record and active driver's license to be insurable to be able to drive a company truck
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, personable, presentable, and articulate

Responsibilities

• Delivery and installation of various kitchen equipment and supplies locally and nationwide.
• Taking direction from others to complete the job.
• Moving heavy objects and working with power tools.
• Communicating directly with customers and with our project managers is critical for the successful execution of the job.
• Some warehouse work and building maintenance are required on rare occasions
