Job summary

Singer Equipment Company, Inc. is seeking an Installer to ensure the successful installation of commercial kitchen equipment at customer sites. You will safely deliver, uncrate, assemble, and install walk-in coolers, freezers, hoods, ice-machines, and ovens, ensuring full functionality per specifications.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, daily travel, and driving company vehicles. Strong communication, problem solving, and teamwork are essential, as is adherence to safety and health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; mechanical/vocational training preferred.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Strong problem solving, communication, math, attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Must be able to travel daily and lift up to 50 lbs; overtime may be required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks; forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver, uncrate, assemble, and install commercial kitchen equipment at customer sites.
• Load and unload equipment and tools for delivery and installation.
• Hang and secure shelving, racking, and other wall or ceiling products.
• Ensure all work documentation is complete (progress and hours).
• Attend required safety training.
• Work schedule may include early morning hours and outdoor temperatures.
