Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a vascular/procedural unit in the Atlanta area. The role requires ARRT certification and BLS, plus 3-5 years of IR experience and a license if applicable.

The position features a high-volume caseload (25-30 cases/day), on-call including weekends/holidays, and access to advanced imaging equipment (GE Innova, Philips Allura, OEC 9900), with travel and licensure reimbursements offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and BLS required.
• License required if applicable.
• 3-5 years of Interventional Radiology experience required.
• Travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Vascular/Procedural unit.
• High-volume caseload averaging 25-30 cases per day.
• Procedures include Y-90 chemoembolizations, cerebral angiograms with thrombectomy and intervention, subarachnoid hemorrhage treatment, TIPS, G-tube placement, uterine fibroid embolization, all forms of vascular access, PTC, and renal and liver biopsies.
• Uses GE Innova, Philips Allura, OEC 9900 C-Arm, and ultrasound equipment.
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• On‑call required, including weekends and holidays.
• Perform a wide range of vascular and interventional radiology procedures in a high‑acuity hospital setting.
• Scrubs provided by facility.
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates within this radius are not eligible.
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if requested on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
