Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Philadelphia, PA. You will support physicians with minimally invasive procedures, operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced lab.

The role requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, BLS, and one year of IR tech experience. Benefits include travel pay, health coverage, and comprehensive support from Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Valid ARRT, RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and maintaining a sterile field
• Monitor vital signs and procedural details
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff and self
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment for procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to provide patient care
• Follow infection control and regulatory protocols
• Educate patients before, during and after procedures
• Perform other duties to support lab operations
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
