Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR tech) for a 13-week travel assignment in Charleston, SC. Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, and maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff and self.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Manage procedural supplies and assist radiologists and nurses.
