Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment, support physicians during image-guided procedures, and ensure patient safety. 1 year of acute care experience is preferred, with required BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certification; licensing as needed is also required. This travel role offers weekly pay and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certification required.
• State licensing may be required.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity.
• Monitor patient during all procedures and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
• Understand and use PACS systems and communication protocols.
