Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, assisting physicians, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring sterile technique within the IR department.

Applicant must hold a current license in good standing with appropriate certifications.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the IR team and support patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department.
• Operate diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Assist the physician with procedures by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response, maintaining sterile field, and evaluating diagnostic data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment of excellence focused on timely, compassionate care.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly
