Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to work in Milwaukee, WI. You will perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures, operating radiographic equipment and ensuring patient safety across a 13-week contract.

The role requires 2+ years of IR experience, independent decision-making, strong communication, and a commitment to safety. Travel assignments with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence.
