Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Milwaukee, WI. The IR tech will assist physicians in minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the interventional radiology team.

This role requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, BLS, and at least one year of IR tech experience, with ACLS/PALS preferred. Travel benefits and housing stipends are provided by Fusion.

Qualifications

• One year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
• Current ARRT, RCIS or RCES certification as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification current (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS preferred; PALS/ENPC may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures with safety and comfort.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in and maintaining sterile fields.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Manage supplies and assist with procedures across IR lab.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and team members.
• Follow infection control and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients before, during and after procedures.
• Adhere to job duties as assigned and hospital policies.
