Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, IA. The IR tech will support physicians in minimally invasive procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety.

Requirements include ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, BLS, and recent IR experience; ACLS/PALS may be preferred. Travel-friendly environment with comprehensive benefits and pay package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent IR tech experience.
• Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging modalities to guide procedures.
• Pass instruments and maintain sterile field during procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and document procedural details.
• Ensure radiation safety and equipment readiness.
