Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the Cardiac Interventional Radiology team with neuro imaging focus. The role requires ARRT radiography registry, BLS, and a BSN. Travel-friendly candidates with 1+ year of interventional imaging experience are preferred.

IL licensure is required where applicable. The position involves 4x10 hour days, on-call duties, and potential cross-facility assignments within the health system.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in radiography required, ARRT VI preferred
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Neuro experience required
• IL license required through IEMA, license required if applicable
• BSN required
• Minimum 1 year of direct experience required, 1-3 years of Interventional Imaging experience preferred
• Prior travel experience required

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend requirement applies
• On-call responsibilities required
• 30-minute meal break
• Uses computed tomography and fluoroscopy equipment, including Philips and Siemens systems
• May be subject to floating between facilities within the health system if requested by the unit
• Perform interventional radiology procedures with a focus on cardiac and neuro imaging
• Skills checklist and two professional references required for consideration, with one reference from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the last year
• All requested time off must be submitted for consideration and cannot be added afterward
• Employment history with Northwestern Medicine or its acquired facilities must be disclosed, if applicable
• Non-licensed direct patient caregivers not listed as eligible in the IL Healthcare Worker Registry may need to complete in-person fingerprinting in Illinois prior to starting
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
