Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a cardiac/IR unit. ARRT certification and 1+ year IR/Angio experience are required. Virginia license if applicable; BLS required; PACS proficiency and contrast administration experience are essential.

Day shift on a 4x10 schedule with ~25 cases daily, rotating days off, and weekend/holiday coverage. Travel not required; Epic charting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Virginia state license required (license if applicable).
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience.
• Community hospital experience required.
• Proficiency with PACS, biopsies and contrast administration.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology department within a hospital setting.
• Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM).
• Daily caseload of approximately 25 patients.
• Rotating days off with call, weekend and holiday coverage required.
• No floating to other units or sister facilities.
• Uses PACS imaging system and Siemens equipment (preferred).
• Procedures include venous access, central line and port management, vascular and neurological interventions, genitourinary procedures, embolization/ablation techniques.
• Stocks and manages procedural supplies.
