Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist in Lake Forest, IL for a 12-week assignment. The role focuses on cardiac interventional radiology in a multi-specialty department, requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of direct IR experience.

Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing in cardiac cath lab procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring infection control. On-call duties apply; local candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certified with at least 1 year of direct experience required.
• ILS license in hand at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted.
• BLS and ACLS certification through AHA required.
• IEMA licensure required if applicable.
• Associate Degree in Applied Sciences required; BSN required.
• Experience with equipment setup, scrub procedures, sterile field and vascular closure systems.

Responsibilities

• Circulating and scrubbing in cardiac cath lab procedures.
• Maintain infection control and PPE protocols.
• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including left/right heart cath and PCI.
• May float between facilities within the health system as needed.
• On-call 5–6 days per month including one weekend.
