American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Fargo, North Dakota. The role requires ARRT, BLS, and NDMIRT licensure, with 40 hours/week and 8- to 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• ARRT and BLS (AHA) certification required.
• NDMIRT license required or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum 2 years of IR Tech experience.
• Competent in strokes, MMAs, pipelines, coilings, vasospasms, EVD placement, AVMs, carotid stents, and rhizotomy.
• Experience with vascular angiograms, biopsies, drainages, tube placements, injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, thrombectomy, embolizations, endovascular procedures, central lines, and dialysis catheters.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and medical terminology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including after-hours call.

• Operates interventional equipment to provide high quality diagnostic imaging while in the IR unit.
• Minimizes patient risk and recovery time, initiating life support measures as necessary.
• Adheres to safety and infection control policies.
• Participates in scheduling and performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Involved in educational processes for Radiologic Technology students.
• 2-week unit-specific training and orientation program, with potential to complete early if validated.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level 1 trauma acute care setting requiring ARRT, BLS, and NDMIRT licensure.

Details

• Level 1 trauma acute care setting within the IR Tech unit
• Uses EPIC charting, Radiant, Cupid, PACS, and Accudose equipment
• 8 or 10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 0630-1730
• Call required, including up to 3 weekday call shifts (1730-0700) and every 3rd-4th weekend (Friday 1730 to Monday 0700)
• Will float between two hospital locations, Broadway and SMCF
• Procedure-based unit with a care team consisting of 1 provider, 1 nurse, 1 scrub Rad Tech, and 1 circulator

Requirements

• ARRT and BLS (AHA) certification required
• NDMIRT license required or willingness to obtain (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of IR Tech experience
