Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer in Easton, MD to perform complex radiographic procedures and assist radiologists in a fast-paced environment. The assignment runs for 16 weeks with a 40-hour work week and 8-hour shifts, days.

The ideal candidate has proven IR radiography experience, strong patient safety knowledge, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff, physicians, and patients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision‑making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with others.
• Meet all local health regulations and pass health assessment.
• Strong attention to detail and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems (McKesson RIS, PACS, etc.).
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
• Ensure exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists during exams to ensure clinical excellence.
