Job summary

Focus Staff is actively seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Salinas, California. The role involves operating radiographic equipment for complex vascular and neuroradiology procedures, with a 10-hour shift over four days per week.

The ideal candidate has prior Interventional Radiography experience, strong patient safety knowledge, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff and physicians on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Strong focus on patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate to residents and families and work cooperatively.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Meet local health regulations and pass health assessment.
• Physically capable of required hospital duties.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems (RIS, PACS, portals).
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure accuracy.
• Assist supervisor with supplies required for patient care.
• Capture relevant exam information at time of exam.
• Assist radiologists during exams delivering clinical excellence.
