Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Salinas, CA. The role involves operating radiographic equipment for complex vascular and neuroradiology procedures, with a 40‑hour week and 5×8 days shift.

The candidate should have proven IR radiography experience, strong patient safety awareness, and excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families. Travel staffing across all states is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision‑making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Maintain and develop skills in clinical systems used for modalities.
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor with supplies for patient care.
• Capture relevant exam information at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams and ensure clinical excellence.
