Job summary

TNAA TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Rockford, Illinois. The IR Tech will work 40 hours per week, with a 10-hour day shift, supporting physicians during image-guided procedures and patient care before, during, and after interventions.

The role requires 1 year of acute care experience, BLS/ACLS, ARRT (R) certification, and state licensing as applicable; vascular interventional cert is preferred. Travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ARRT (R) national certification; vascular interventional cert preferred.
• State licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity.
• Confirm patient identity, review imaging requests and explain procedures.
• Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitor patients.
• Maintain patient records and understand PACS usage.
