Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Carbondale, Illinois. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopy, assist physicians in minimally invasive procedures, and ensure patient safety and documentation.

Requires 1 year acute care experience and ARRT (R) certification, plus BLS/ACLS and licensure as applicable. This travel role offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts, and a tax-free stipend as part of the package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certification; state licensing as required.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
• Stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians in minimally invasive procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormalities.
• Confirm patient ID, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients.
