Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Birmingham, Alabama. The role requires ARRT IR certification, at least 1 year of IR experience, and the ability to operate fluoroscopy and digital imaging systems.

Expect 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts, with travel duties. This contract emphasizes patient care and teamwork in a dynamic imaging environment, offering benefits such as weekly pay and potential housing or meals/incidentals

Qualifications

• Current IR Technologist certification and registration.
• 1+ year IR imaging experience.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms, equipment and supplies for IR procedures.
• Assist physicians during image-guided interventions with patient comfort and accuracy.
• Monitor patient status before, during and after procedures.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records per facility protocols.
• Provide compassionate support and clear instructions to patients.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow infection control policies.
