Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Chico, California assignment. The role involves performing vascular and neuroradiology procedures, with a 13-week travel contract and 5x8 rotating shifts.

Travel exposure across facilities, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits are offered. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of IR radiography experience, strong patient-safety focus, and excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements (with or without devices) for operating in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak and related systems.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
