Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Summit, New Jersey assignment. The role involves supporting complex diagnostic and vascular/interventional cases, operating fluoroscopy equipment, and maintaining sterile technique in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires NJ radiographic licensure, BLS, and ARRT certification, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts during a roughly 8–13 week contract. Travel staffing experience and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or a Cardiovascular Technologist with current NJ radiographic licensure.
• Current NJ radiographic licensure.
• BLS certification from AHA or equivalent.
• Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Assist proceduralists during diagnostic and interventional cases, scrubbing side by side.
• Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedures.
• Operate power injection devices for iodinated contrast media during procedures.
• Communicate effectively using closed-loop communication.
• Manage groin sites post-intervention appropriately.
• Contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
• Document procedures using electronic medical records and send images to Sectra/PACS systems.
