Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week contract in Summit, New Jersey. The role supports proceduralists in diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases, working 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM four days a week with rotating on-call nights and weekends.

The ideal candidate has NJ radiographic licensure, ARRT radiography certification, and BLS certification, with 3–5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or a Cardiovascular Technologist with current NJ radiographic licensure.
• Proficient in sterile technique and infection prevention during procedures.
• Strong knowledge of floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines and ability to support proceduralists.

Responsibilities

• Assist proceduralists during diagnostic and interventional cases, scrubbing side by side.
• Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedures.
• Operate power injection devices for iodinated contrast media during procedures.
• Communicate effectively using closed-loop communication.
• Manage groin sites post-intervention appropriately.
• Contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
• Document procedures using electronic medical records and send images to Sectra/PACS systems.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiologic Technologist will assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases. You will need to demonstrate strong knowledge of floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines and possess the critical thinking ability to support the proceduralist effectively. Maintaining infection prevention measures and sterile technique while setting up procedural trays is crucial for this role.

• Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.
