Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Danbury, CT. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians, and monitor patients during procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certification, with licensure as needed. Expect 40 hours per week for 13 weeks with a tax-free stipend and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• Proficiency with radiation safety practices and patient monitoring.
• IR tech certification and state licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and monitor patients during procedures and document findings.
• Maintain patient records and ensure radiation safety safeguards.
• Thoroughly document procedures and assist in patient care before, during, and after.
