Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment in Manchester, Connecticut. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional imaging, assisting physicians, and maintaining sterile technique in a fast-paced IR department.

Requirements include an active license, relevant certifications, and at least 18 months in Special Procedures/Interventional work, preferably in critical care.

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department through technical assistance to the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operates conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images per physician specifications.
• Assist the physician with various diagnostic/interventional procedures, monitoring, passing instruments, observing patient response, maintaining sterile field, interpreting data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
