Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment in Carmel, Indiana. This travel role requires 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts for a 13-week duration.

The ideal candidate will hold current licensure, have relevant IR experience and certifications, and meet client facility requirements. Travel benefits include housing options and comprehensive health coverage through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to IR team in the IR department.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images as ordered.
• Assist the physician with procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, observing patient response, and maintaining sterile field.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regs and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care and maintain a patient-focused environment.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
