Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role entails operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology procedures, with a 13-week travel contract and 4x10 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with others.
• Meet all local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements suitable for clinical work.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals and procedures.
• Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak and related systems.
• Monitor equipment to ensure performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
• Capture relevant exam information at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence.
