Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville seeks an Internal Traveler for Interventional Radiology on a limited term basis. The role requires radiography credentials, ARRT registration, and BLS certification, with 1 year IR experience preferred. Annual compensation includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus and hourly pay of $105.

Benefits eligible; end date on or before 2027-08-01. Eligible for overtime; on-call rate $6.50/hr; not eligible for shift differential or merit adjustments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program; associate degree preferred and ARRT (VI) eligibility.
• 1 year of relevant experience; 2 years Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R.T.) required; ARRT (VI) certification preferred within one year.
• AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and care for patients in Interventional Radiology with direct patient contact.
• Design and implement clinical programs, policies, and services using specialized IR knowledge.
• Work under moderate supervision with adherence to standard procedures and occasional interpretation.
• Communicate information clearly and accurately to patients and team.
