Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with neuro/stroke and thrombectomy expertise for a fast-paced IR department in Virginia. Active VA or Compact RN license and BLS/ACLS/NIH Stroke Scale are required.

The role covers day shifts (4x10s) and on-call duties with tight response times, using Epic EMR. Travel nursing experience and on-site requirement near the facility are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Interventional Radiology nursing experience.
• Neuro/stroke nursing experience required.
• Thrombectomy experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide conscious sedation and patient monitoring in IR procedures.
• Perform pre-procedural timeouts and critical care nursing in IR.
• Day shift: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• On-call: 10-12 shifts every six weeks with 30-minute response time.
• Utilize Epic Radiant IR for charting; possible float per policy.
• Support a fast-paced IR department in a hospital setting.
