Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week assignment in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You will provide specialized IR nursing care, coordinate with radiologists and technologists, and ensure patient safety throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedural stages.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent IR RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments and review medical history and labs.
• Educate patients and families about IR procedures, sedation, and post-procedure care.
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and oxygenation during procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring sterile technique and proper instrument handling.
• Recognize and respond to complications and escalate care when necessary.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring and discharge education.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, medications, and procedural details.
• Collaborate with IR team to deliver coordinated care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
