Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports diagnostic and interventional procedures in IR under supervision.

The position requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS, and at least 18 months of recent IR experience. Travel nurses receive weekly pay, housing options, health benefits, and a comprehensive credentialing package.

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Interventional Radiology setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Provide education to the patient and family members.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medication including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patient before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.
