Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week assignment in Lafayette, Indiana. The IR RN will perform pre- and post-procedure care, assist physicians, and monitor sedation and vital signs, with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requires one year IR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS. Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS/RCIS or RCES. This travel role offers competitive pay and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year IR RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and history review.
• Educate patients and families about IR procedures and care.
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation with safety.
• Monitor hemodynamics and oxygenation during procedures.
• Assist physicians with positioning and sterile technique.
• Recognize and escalate complications as needed.
• Provide post-procedure recovery and discharge education.
• Document assessments, medications, and procedures accurately.
• Collaborate with IR team to deliver coordinated care.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory standards.
