Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, IL. The role supports a Level 1 trauma center with vascular/endovascular focus and requires GE equipment proficiency and 2+ years of IR experience.

Shifts are 4x9 hours (36 hours per week) with day shifts and on-call responsibilities. Travel assignment includes scrubbing duties and potential cross‑coverage within the surgical suite.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in vascular/endovascular procedures.
• IR experience preferred but not required.
• Must have GE equipment experience.
• ARRT certification required (RCIS not accepted).
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• Scrubbing required with scrubs, gown, and setup/takedown.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Vascular Surgery/IR department of a Level 1 trauma acute care facility.
• Single procedure suite averaging 3 cases per day; endovascular and vascular cases common.
• Uses EPIC EMR for documentation and workflows.
• 4x9-hour day shifts; potential alternative schedules discussed.
• Weeknight and weekend call with defined response times; holiday rotation.
• May float to similar units and assist with Surgical Tech duties.
