Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to support a 13-week assignment in Peoria, IL. The role involves operating radiographic equipment for vascular and neuroradiology interventional procedures with precision and attention to safety.

The position is 40 hours per week, days shift, with travel benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, licensing reimbursement, and dedicated staffing support. A minimum of 2 years as an Interventional Radiographer is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer
• Independent decision-making skills
• Strong knowledge of patient safety and precautions
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families
• Ability to relate positively to residents, families and coworkers
• Regular attendance and reliability
• Post-offer health assessment completion

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals
• Maintain and develop skills in radiology systems and PACS
• Monitor equipment performance to specification
• Assist supervisor with supplies for patient care
• Capture relevant exam information accurately
• Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence
