American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist - Special Procedures in Marquette, MI.

You will support a busy IR department with 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT certification, performing a range of procedures and collaborating with multiple providers. The role includes day shifts, on-call requirements, travel housing options, and benefits such as medical coverage, retirement plans, and per diem.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registry certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• BLS certification required
• Experience operating radiology equipment, sterile technique, and scrubbing for IR procedures
• Must be comfortable working with multiple providers and staff in varied situations
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology department within a specialty care hospital, Trauma Level 2
• 5 exam rooms and 1 specials room
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Common procedures include peripheral interventions, biopsies, venous and arterial thrombolysis, EVARs, MMAs, and drains/drainage
• Uses GE Innova imaging equipment
• Cerner EHR
• 8-hour day shifts with start times ranging from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM
• Call requirements include 1 call night per week and 1 weekend every 5 weeks, plus additional rotational call as needed
• Floating required to Interventional Pain Clinic
• Every other weekend worked
• Hospital-provided scrubs with standard surgical attire required

• Local candidates accepted at a different rate; candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Attendance policy enforced: a formal warning is issued after a second absence and contract termination may occur after a third absence unless otherwise agreed upon with unit leadership
• All missed shifts must be made up to maintain contracted hours
