Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and minimally invasive IR procedures.
- Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments including medical history review, medication and allergy checks, vital signs, and consent verification.
- Prepare patients for procedures with education, safety checks, and care coordination.
- Provide intra-procedure support as a circulating nurse or moderate sedation nurse.
- Monitor patient status, vital signs, oxygenation, and response to medications during procedures.
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation per policies and protocols.

- Support multiple IR locations as assigned within the facility
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- License required if applicable

- Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments including medical history review, medication and allergy checks, vital signs, and consent verification

- Collect, label, document, and ensure proper handling and transport of specimens per facility and laboratory requirements

- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, schedulers, and interdisciplinary teams to support efficient workflow and high-quality care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure readiness of medications, supplies, and emergency equipment per regulatory standards
