Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. You will work with a dedicated clinical team to support complex vascular and non-vascular procedures in a fast-paced IR lab.

The role requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, one year of IR tech experience, and current BLS. Travel benefits and competitive pay accompany a rewarding patient-care environment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification as per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound imaging to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, maintain sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
