Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist in Dothan, AL for a 13-week travel assignment. The role covers vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular procedures.

Responsibilities include diagnostic angiography, catheter-based techniques, scrubbing, monitoring, and fluoroscopy in single- and biplane suites. Schedule is days, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, with neuro lab call and call coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA Council on Education-approved radiologic technology program or RCIS credentialed.
• ARRT (VI) certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular cases required.
• Experience working in large healthcare facilities required.
• Nursing license required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work in interventional radiology, OR 28, vascular surgery, and neuro-interventional suites.
• Perform diagnostic angiography, minimally invasive guidewire and catheter-based procedures, and percutaneous biopsies.
• Function as scrub, monitor, and fluoroscopy technologist in single- and biplane environments.
• Monday-Friday day shift with 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM.
• Neuro lab call coverage approximately one week every four weeks; 2-4 backup call days per month.
• Total call commitment of approximately 9-11 days per month.
• Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of call notification.
