Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are currently seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional radiology procedures and a strong background in neuro interventions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Perform scrubbing duties for IR procedures and assist the medical team as required.
• Administer medications and assist with patient monitoring during procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology, particularly with neuro cases.
• Required certifications: ARRT, ARRT (CV), and BLS Certification.
• Experience with various interventional procedures including, but not limited to: embolization, Y90, carotid stents, and trans-jugular liver biopsies.
• Ability to work effectively with adult patients, with occasional care required for pediatric patients (ages 0-18).

Work Environment

• Two interventional radiology suites with shared neuro and hybrid room capabilities.
• Average of 15 cases per day.
• Utilization of Epic and Phillips EMR systems.
• Opportunity to participate in a supportive and cohesive team environment.

Scheduling

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
• Set days off with some variability allowed based on PTO.
• Optional on-call responsibilities for weeknights and weekends; call response time is within 30 minutes.
• Holiday call responsibilities are optional.
