Interventional (Neuro) Radiology Technologist
Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular procedures. This role involves supporting various diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures, including adult diagnostic angiography and percutaneous biopsies.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub, monitor, and fluoroscopy technologist in single- and biplane environments.
• Provide technical assistance with sheath insertion, groin sealant, and stabilization for vascular surgery and neuro-endovascular procedures.
• Operate equipment in interventional radiology and neuro-interventional suites.
• Deliver care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures for patients, coworkers, and self.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary procedural team.

Requirements

• Experience with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular cases.
• Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program recognized by the American Medical Association Council on Education, or credentialed through Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• ARRT (VI) certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Schedule and Call

The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Call coverage for the neuro lab is approximately one week every four weeks, with additional backup coverage required for 2 to 4 days per month. Total call commitment is approximately 9 to 11 days per month, and the technologist must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of notification.

Additional Information

Candidates must reside at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered. Please include the candidate’s permanent address in the profile. Contracts will end on a Tuesday due to the facility’s Wednesday to Tuesday pay period.
