The Wellspring Nurse Source team in Maryland is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our travel staffing roster. You will perform interventional procedures, manage imaging, and care for adult and geriatric patients in a high-paced setting.

Requirements include 2+ years IR experience, neuro/vascular interventional exposure, and current ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R and Maryland RT license. Fluoroscopy permit and ARRT-VI preferred. Travel with 40-hour weeks and 10-hour shifts.

Formación

Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality imaging and patient care in a fast-paced environment. Our department performs approximately 10 cases per day and serves adult and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interventional procedures, including biopsies, peripheral procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, stroke interventions, kyphoplasty, and nephrogram procedures.
• Utilize imaging equipment effectively, with a preference for experience in Siemens, Philips, Toshiba, and GE equipment.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately using the Cerner charting system.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology is required; experience in a teaching hospital or Level I trauma center is preferred.
• Neuro and vascular interventional experience is required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R, and a valid Maryland RT license are required.
• ARRT-VI certification and fluoroscopy permit are preferred.

Schedule and Availability

• Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM).
• Weekend call is required; no regular weekend shifts are specified.
• Weekday call is back up; hours are from 5 PM to 7 AM on weekdays.
• All staff may float within their scope as needed to meet facility demands.

Time Off Policies

• Requests for time off (RTO) for 14 days or less will be auto-approved.
• Every other winter and summer holiday must be worked; no RTO is approved for holidays such as Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day.
