Interventional Radiology Technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures as directed by physicians.
• Provide technical support during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize imaging equipment effectively to obtain high-quality images and assist in interventional procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required, including weekend and holiday coverage.

Schedule

• Work shifts of 4 x 10 hours from 07:00 to 17:30 with rotating weekdays off.
• On-call duty is expected, typically once a week, from the end of the shift to 07:00 the next morning.
• Weekend on-call is 24 hours, from Friday end of shift to Monday morning.
• Weekend call rotations typically occur every 4-6 weeks.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification with a valid Texas state license (MRT) or RCIS CCI certification along with LMRT/MRT.
• Demonstrated experience in both Interventional Radiology and Computed Tomography.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
