MetaSense, Inc. is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Morristown, New Jersey.

Job Description & Requirements

Duties:
• Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist.
• Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines.
• Ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases.
• Ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist.
• Ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Strong communication skills using closed loop communication.
• Ability to maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load.
• Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons.
• Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and send images to Sectra/PACs system.
• Groin management post intervention.
• Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast-paced environment.
• BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
• Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state (defined in above JD).
• This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist (CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.

Skills:
3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic Technologist or a Cardio-Vascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.

Required Education:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Associate degree.
- OR Completion of accredited radiographic program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
- NJ radiographic licensure.
- BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
- Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.

5-days a week; shifts vary based on department needs with weekend & weekday on-call requirements.
