Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience to perform interventional radiology and cardiac cath lab procedures.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department in a hospital setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a rotating day off
• Call requirement of one primary and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend every 6 weeks alternating between primary and backup
• Uses Siemens imaging equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within Interventional Radiology
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification requiredlis

• Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Skills include venous access, central line care, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, TIPS, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, nephrostomy, and biliary drainage procedures

• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Additional Information

• Perform interventional radiology and cardiac cath lab procedures including vascular, genitourinary, and neurological studies
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records in Epic
• First-time travelers are not considered; previous IR experience required
• Former employees eligible for a travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility
• Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at this facility
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• RTO must be submitted with contract and limited to 7 days or less
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director; no coworker references accepted
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract

American Traveler Job ID #P-751500. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
